      1. As a big ND fan who has atteneded countless home games and with several memebers of my extened family who live in South Bend and graduated from ND – rudy is a long shot, joke, gimmick, embarassment. It’s the equivalent to crazy mary ( the drunk old lady who flashed her t@ts at Ute games) Kinda funny but nothing you want to be remember for. So when I use the word “rudy” I think you get what I’m saying. Having said that, there has been some long shots that came thru. Utah seems to be on this never ending treadmill of recruiting rudy’s and thinking they can win conference championships or more.
      
      2. Hey I’m waving the Utes drafted into the NFL flag as high as it can go. Player development is THE BEST in the nation….but for whatever reason kwhitt still can’t get enough of the ELITE players to move to the next level. Utah had two of those types of players on last years team {JJ and maybe Moss}. I’m hoping recruting is improving – and I think it is but I need to see a lot more head to head wins with teams we actually need to beat.
      
      Hammer, I don’t have the time but I suspect that the vast majority of those Ute draft picks (since 2014) fell in the 5-7 rounds. Its all good and kwhitt is sending players to the NFL. But if Utah wants to step up to the next level they will need to sign 5-7 four star recruits EVERY year.
      
      So when I see they signed another “rudy” I have to ask.. hey, kwhitt, have you stepped up your game or are you treading water…

        I feel that his expectations are outside of reality. Utah will not recruit like Ohio State, Clemson, other top tier programs and might not reach the level of Oregon or USC. In fact, if the NCAA allowing student athletes to profit from their likeness will be another disadvantage for Utah. The fact that Utah is putting more guys in aggregate to the NFL than this programs speaks to Utah “punching above its weight” – Barry Obama

        People don’t like him because he only comes around to post when the story fits his narrative. He claims we can’t get high profile recruits, then we do, and he disappears off the face of the earth… then we get an unknown PWO, and it’s like he never left.

        Correct. Don’t disagree with Pace much. But it is correct that he posts when the topic supports His Ute world view. Therefore like the troll, only comes out when the target is safe, more as an irritant than a danger. Advice – move swiftly past, and ignore.

  His video highlights look good, not great, but good solid dude. QW has a good track record of turning kids like these into valuable contributors. Not all recruits have to be 4* athletes; He’ll be on scholorship in a couple of years.
