The cost of holding off on Rising in 2023, assures his QB1 position for 2024. Not many coaches (or players) have the commitment and patience. Lets hope it works in 2024.

When I first saw Ja’Quinden run, he reminded me of Eric Dickerson, both with a upright, darting running style. If he does end up at SMU, I expect they may see the similarities. Performance on the field should absolutely determine all-conference teams. But for my money, Bishop’s dominating performance, on-the-field IQ and leadership, relentless effort, should be rewarded. He was 1st team quality. If he returns for 2024 he will prove it.
