Participantthe contribution of Enis. No he wasn’t targetted much this game, but the blocking that guy laid out today was special. He was a beast.

ParticipantVery instrumental in that long TD by Jordan.

ParticipantYeah. I don’t think he comes back. But, whatever is best fit all.

ParticipantYeah, his mom knows he’s a good blocker. She’s disappointed by his lack of targets. If he’s as bothered by it as his moms, he’s going to leave.

ParticipantAt 6’3″ 200+ lbs he has the hands and size to be an effective receiver. Is his issue speed, route designs, or route running?

Participantat the end of the day: it’s having a QB who is willing to throw him the ball. Unless every pass play has him as the last resort, he should get a couple of targets every game. As all of the receivers should.
Every QB has guys they look for first no matter the play call. Dixon was a stud with Shelley but ignored by Huntley who would throw it to Simpkins no matter how many times he dropped it, fumbled, or just ran the wrong route.
Bentley, after all the TO’s the first 2 games, was afraid to go through his progressions. If his first option wasn’t wide open – which to be honest, still didn’t help with all the bad passes – he would tuck and run. He got some first downs but a less athletic Huntley circa 2017 wasn’t what Utah needed at QB. Moving while keeping his eyes downfield is what turned Huntley from a liability to All-Conference.

ParticipantI get it, but if he wants to play at the next level, one of two things have to happen. He either needs to transfer to a school that will showcase him, or he needs to stay put and understand that blocking at the next level is key for a WR.

ParticipantHe can’t get open. He doesn’t have the speed. And he isn’t that quick. I like enis. I hope he stays. I’m just saying if he wants to ply P5 football it’s not going to work at other schools also. Maybe G5 like Mariner sure. Not P5

ParticipantJust to clarify. Are people thinking he’s leaving via the portal or nfl???
-
Central Coast Ute
ParticipantIt seems like most people think he will hit the portal. Myself among them. I don’t think a P5 school will pick him though.

ParticipantWith the QB situation improving by the hour it seems, I wonder if he might stay?
