      It was briefly mentioned in the headlines at the beginning of the show, but not a peep since. It’s little more than an afterthought in the CFB world. I think the new B12 may struggle to stay relevant.

      Yes, the P12 has its own issues with visibility and relevance, but at least it still has premier teams.

        Gameday barely cares about anyone but the CFP contenders.

          I agree, but each time there has been a conference expansion in the past it was discussed pretty heavily for at least a few days afterward.

          The B12 expansion came and went in a flash.

      Bowlsby burned some bridges with ESPN. can’t say I’m surprised they’re not talking about it much. Especially if there is a court case still looming.

        That could very well be the reason, at least on the ESPN side of the media. But, looking at other sports media sites and twitter feeds, the discussion is largely evaporated from these sources as well.

      They so Poo-Poo category? Big-12 football is mainly covered by Fox and BallySports so I suppose a slight dis by ESPN is not unexpected.  There are other things going on this week — ahem 9/11 — so plenty of other things to cover.
