My thoughts on our remaining games:
Arizona – They simply are not a very good team right now. The ESPN predictor gives us a 92% chance of winning. Their D seems better than their offense. In fact, they probably have a better D than Stanford. We need to go in there and give them the knockout punch early and get some needed playing time for Jackson and others.
Oregon – I looked at the stats of both teams this morning. On offense – both teams look almost exactly the same on passing and rushing yards. Both like to run first and do it well. ESPN predictor has us at a 63% chance of winning. It may come down to which defense performs the best. They have a couple of studs on D. However, they have been vulnerable all season.
Colorado – In a way this one scares me the most even though the ESPN predictor gives us a 93% chance of winning. I watched them play OSU last weekend and they didn’t look bad. We will be at home and hopefully be 8-3 going in. We should win going away, but it could be an odd trap game. We will have just played Oregon and likely will be playing Oregon again the following Friday. It may be hard to focus on CU, similar to the BYU game of 2018.
