  I hate to lose him as our RB coach. But, when you have a good year – you will likely lose some guys.

    Sucks, because McDonald was a huge part of our RB room culture. Really gotta hope that Thomas stays now, which gives us the best shot to bridge the gap with whoever the new coach is, IMO.

      Yeah, that sucks. He’s been a great recruiter and coach. I never like to see coaches lateral out. Leaving for a promotion is understandable, but laterals mean we got poached by a bigger name willing to pay more and that is never a fun feeling.
      
      USC isn’t playing around. They are dead-set on out-spending everyone and returning to prominence.

  Good for coach McDonald. I’m glad that the RB position at Utah has gained notoriety. I think we’ll be able to hire a good one to replace him that may be able to bring in even better recruits. I’m bummed, but excited as well.

    The biggest reason this sucks is because it’s to USC. Them being better is not good for us at all.
