I hope this rumor isn’t true. However, at the risk of being “that guy”, I would say that if a true freshman is willing to jump ship halfway through his first season, then it obviously wasn’t a good match to begin with.

I hope he stays, but if he leaves, I wish him well and we move on.

Let’s see, Jack must be looking for a team without any other QBs or at a minimum, none that compete for playing time.  In addition, he knows every QB at Utah stays a QB.  Maybe he can find a great team that does not recruit a QB every single year.  Or someone may just be confussed as to why Utah continues to recruit key positions every year.

Well this is terrible news. What has happened that a true freshman wants to leave mid season? Surely there must be some kind of drama. I can’t image he’s deluded enough that he expected to start by now.
