I would give you ten thumbs-up checks if I could.

Sorry if my comments offended someone. I was just joking and my point was he is using it as leverage to get more money.

Doesn’t mean anything as far as play time or eligibility anymore but it does mean he’s walking from Utah with a degree and has to enroll in a grad program.
This isn’t the case with Utah/Jack but Stanford football still loses a lot of Sr’s because of this (Utah has benefited from it some) They can’t continue to play football at Stanford unless…[Read more]

Is grad transfer really a thing anymore? Yes, he graduated, so that’s good (Cam still hasn’t after 7 years!), but before, we thought grad transfer was good because they could play right away. Now, every transfer can play right away, a court ruling I think was stupid and has created a lot of this mess. Want to transfer and get NIL? Great, but you…[Read more]

Maybe he’ll meet a nice LDS girl and get a job with an MLM company at the Y. I wonder if they have to pay tithing with the NIL money. Call his bluff. He’s using it as leverage.

I’m sorry, but I’m pissed off at the whole system. It’s made the sport unrecognizable, and it’s unsustainable.

We can’t be getting pissed when players leave to bigger schools. The portal takes and gives. We can’t be pissed he’s going to Texas for more money and then celebrate Dampier when we gave him more money than New Mexico and more exposure.

He’s a grad transfer. Could be lots of reasons, more money, different grad programs, wanted a change of scenery. One thing I won’t miss is his occasional 30yd shank punts

I doubt we had any extra money for a punter. He has a chance to make some$$ and play in the SEC and a possible playoff run. Can’t blame him.

ProudUte replied to the topic Bouwmeister to Texas. in the forum Football 5 months ago
Well, he will only punt about 25% as much as he did here.
This has to be all about money.

No A’s for any of them unless we have at least a 70% TD success rate inside the Red Zone.

Maybe, maybe not. How good of friends are Beck and Scalley. Given the choice between working with your good friend or going back to your alma mater, I think a lot of people would choose to continue working with their friend.

Well he isn’t leaving for lack of playing time.

I remember hearing a radio interview he did shortly after his Utah career ended, and he was trashing Utah while praising BYU. Definitely changed my view of him.

This is how it’s going to be. The blue bloods will pick and choose which players they want, and just buy them.
CFB is sooooooooo fucked.

Agreed. I’d definitely welcome him back if I were whitt and our collective, but only at the NIL he was originally given. If he wants more or else he’s gone, then let him leave.

I agree. The offensive line was about the ONLY positive on that side of the ball this season. Lomu and Fano are complete studs. Harding is a very good offensive line coach.

Didn’t Trevor bad mouth the program after he left? I vaguely remember something.
