I’ve watched as many of his highlights as I could find and he kind of just seems like a more athletic and faster version of Isaac Wilson. Sure he’s a great runner, but a 1:1 TD to INT ratio? Whitt’s gonna shut that down real quick. We better reach out to Ken Niumatalolo to see if he’ll give us some tips on running the triple option.
If this is…[Read more]

At WR we have Zipperer, Washington, Williams, and a handful of guys I’ve never heard of. At TE we have King, Bentley, Clegg, and some guys I’ve never heard of. We’ve got McNair coming, and one other guy. None of these people have demonstrated anything suggesting they could be more than maybe the #3 target on a good team. I’m not saying they don’t…[Read more]

I don’t think the state law does that.

The NCAA might argue that there is a violation of their rules “NIL activities may not be used to compensate an athlete for athletics participation or achievement (i.e., pay-for-play).” But, that argument would ring hollow as NIL agreements are exactly…[Read more]

I wouldn’t say I was on the ledge, but the odds of this commit happening was so high that if one were on the ledge they should not take any steps back. If we somehow missed Dampier then it would mean it’s time to jump lol

Why is the NFL the most successful professional sports league?
Hard salary caps. Revenue sharing. Scheduling by record.
You’d think other sports would at least try to emulate it.

Just watched several game highlights. He is incredibly elusive and will be very hard to sack. Even Auburn couldn’t bring him down with their SEC speed. He has amazing ability to extend plays and will probably require a rover from the opposing team to always have to spy him. He also has pretty good touch on the ball. He is electric and should…[Read more]

Look at Markham’s two posts. Posted about Wayshawn Parker and then Atuaia announces he’s starting at a new school tomorrow.

I guess, to distill the issue, my point is if you’re turned on by MINOR LEAGUE Professional baseball, football, soccer, whatever … go for it! Not going to criticize anyone if that’s your thing. For others, …they’re done.
Fact: Utah football doesn’t exist anymore! Utah SPONSORED Professional Minor league football is the
replacement for…[Read more] -

Correct you are chinngiskhaan. It’s been a trend for years for cougar fans to label opposing teams after their game. And it always goes the same. Their opponents are always “welcoming” and/or “classy” after games where the zoobs win, and always “vulgar” and/or “classless”, “anti-Mormon”, “drunken sots”, “foul-mouthed” et al after a loss.

BYU fans always remember to be Christlike as long as God blesses them with a win. If they lose, suddenly everyone, including the opposing team, the officials, their fans, and anyone that dares drive in front of them on the way home, is a religious bigot.

There is no reason why the collective couldn’t have a contract. It would require organization to do. But there is no reason why we couldn’t be including such language in the contracts right now.

The Miami Ute replied to the topic DAMPIER COMMITS TO THE U in the forum Football 6 months, 1 week ago
One of the problems with the current system is that there aren’t any real contractual obligations. Dampier could sign with Utah, start pocketing NIL payments, and then jet on April 25 having done absolutely nothing for the Utes. Damien Martinez waited until he received his last $100K NIL check from Oregon State and then immediately transferred…[Read more]

Talk to me once football season starts. In the new environment, Dampier could have a great spring camp, be offered by another school, and be gone before he ever even played one game for Utah.
