I think Pepa was developing into one of our main run stoppers. His size and agility will be hard to replace.

Agreed, @Proud. This hire has Whitt written all over it, so don’t think he retires. We will see an improvement in the O, but the bar is super low.

Lots of talent on the defense line. These guys can assess well the chances to play next year. There are younger guys in the program and there is good talent coming in this spring. The DL will continue to be good.

So Woods came, got free medical care, a stipend, plus whatever NIL he was given, never played a down and is in the portal. That tracks.

Players can opt into the portal to explore offers/opportunities, then return of course.

But NIL is going to greatly increase numbers who transfer out (and who transfer in too).

No kidding on the conferences. Mississippi St. is #15/16 in SEC and would be #2 in the Big 12.

Definitely a non-sensical design. Trick plays should be a counter to something ran earlier. This was not. Also, why wouldn’t you release one of the two blocking receivers in front of the thrower so the non-QB could throw it to his side of the field?
