Seems like a good pickup. We are going to struggle shooting the ball unless these guys all start shooting a bit better. Also, we still don’t have anyone on the team taller than 6 ft 9 (unless they are some scrub holdover from last year I’m not aware of).
That being said, I’d rather have a strong, athletic team that can bully teams on defense.…[Read more]

What makes you think he’s a true Point Guard? He averaged 1 assist and 1 turnover per game. I’m not dogging him as a player. Glad to have him, but he is NOT a true point guard. Further, Mike Sharavjamts was much more of a true point guard than this guy. Sharavjamts averaged double the assists and the same amount of turnovers in 7 minutes less per…[Read more]

There’s a lot to like about this pickup…not the least of which is that he’s a senior. I’ve always believed that experience matters at PG more than any other position.

Things must have been a little painful when Harlan fired Smith mid-season, but kept his son on staff through the end of the year. That was probably not a fun environment for anyone involved. A change was needed, but the way it happened probably rubbed some (or all) of the players the wrong way. Hopefully things will be better going forward.

He looks decent and was on a decent team that beat some pretty good teams last season. Nice that we have a true PG again!

Agreed. It’s much more likely you find a nice TDS fan if you’re the one being nice first.

I honestly thought around the time Cleveland picks him he’d be a better fit for the Raiders. Let him sit a few years then give him a go. I guess his pre-draft stuff got around really quick, some of the reports were awful. Had he prepped for it, even with the obvious QB deficiencies he would have gone in the first round. Didn’t help that his Dad…[Read more]

Attitude, genetics, and character aside, these are the objective things that I have seen in his game these past two years:
1. Average athlete.
2. Average arm.
3. Will not throw the ball away and would rather take sacks. Incomplete passes and picks hurt your QBR and sacks do not. You make your own decision on his on field decision making.
4.…[Read more] -

I just realized this weekend that I am more excited and supportive of the Utah Hockey Club than I am Utah Football. I am also a bigger fan of my favorite NFL team (Go Dolphins) than I am Utah Football. I never thought I would ever say these things but it is how I feel. NIL has NOT killed college football. The way it has been rolled out and…[Read more]

Looking at the Browns QB room, the only shot he will get is in the UFL next season.

All this talk about moving to the Big10 is nothing but hot air. The Big10 added Maryland and Rutgers for one simple reason: Money. It put the channel on the basic tier in NYC and DC markets. They get 53 cents per subscriber. Compare that to the PAC channel at 13 cents. They added the LA schools for the same reason and to a lesser extent the…[Read more]
