Okay, I guess that makes sense…
Sure.
Yeah, what you’re saying 100% is simultaneously a burn and a great point!

This is what I found regarding selection and seeding to the CFP:
The five highest-ranked conference champions receive automatic bids to the College Football Playoff (CFP), including the four Power Four conference champions and one Group of Five champion. The top four seeds receive a first-round bye, and the fifth-ranked conference champion is…[Read more]

No whiff. It’s normal for you. That’s why it’s called the bubble. Everyone outside the bubble is weird.

Is that right? I thought all P4 conference champions received an automatic bid to the CFP.

Utah has some nice pieces but I am really curious to see how we hold up against some real competition. Wanting to see their identity.

Glover ran better the last two games, with a lot more purpose. It’s tough to tell though when you only get a couple of carries. I’m not saying he had earned more but short of thinking he should take it to the house every time he touched the ball, what level of improvement do you really expect in season?

Just like in politics there are no eternal friends nor eternal enemies, in the current NIL-fueled college football landscape there are no eternal winners nor eternal losers.
Indiana: 3-9 last season, 10-0 this year.
ASU: 3-9 last season, 7-2 this year.
Colorado: 4-8 last season, 7-2 this year.
BYU: 5-7 last season, 9-0 this year.
Washington: 14-1…[Read more] -

Come on, just a little friendly back and forth that we’ve been able to enjoy over on CB with all of your fans.
But you have to admit, it is a little funny that you said you could “spot” BYU humor a mile away, and then whiff several times.
Best of luck to you, guys! I hope you guys win 2 of your next 3 games!

I should have mentioned: It was obvious last night that we were trying to get inside more. It wouldn’t surprise me if Craig told the guys he wanted 2 inside attempts for every attempted triple. In the first half it looked a little herky-jerky and forced, which led to some sloppy play. But in the second half they got more comfortable, plus the…[Read more]

Where’s McMahon and Lasso when you need them? Rational BYU fans need to call out their own. Same goes for our side. Shades of the 70s and 80s. Thank God there wasn’t social media back then. Wasn’t there a movie that said “they’re back””

I agree with you about the potential of Boise outranking a 1 loss conf champ.
One minor correction is that technically it’s not mandatory for a B12 or any conference champion to make it to the CFP. There is no autobid.

And then they say it’s not a Truckstop Conference…the Big 12 are the “useful idiots” of college football…the only reason why someone from the Big 12 will get into the CFP is because it’s mandatory that the conference champion receive a bid…but I got to tell you, it wouldn’t surprise me to see a one-loss Big 12 conference champion get ranked…[Read more]

Nice to have a hoops game to get my minds off the game (and unfortunate aftermath) last Saturday.
Glad we’re trying to get a few more baskets inside as you can’t rely only on treys.
Hoping we can fare well on the road Sunday in Mississippi.

I’ll be honest, I’m going to miss his 2 yards per carry output. We would almost get first downs if he stayed.

I’m really happy with what I’ve seen so far. It is nice having guys like Sharavjamts and Madsen in the backcourt making smart plays. I’ve loved the ball movement so far. I have my doubts about this team’s ability to continue this still of clean play against much bigger and more athletic teams, but I think we will at least surprise some teams at…[Read more]
