I don’t think Logan is all the way back from the knee. Villinger is playing better than I expected, by COT just never seems to stay healthy long enough to get into rhythm. I think we are also really missing Coke Bishop coming off the edge on blitzes. We don’t have anybody with that level of speed and violence, and we frequently end up a half-beat…[Read more]

For the most part, these don’t seem to be S&C-type injuries. E.g., we aren’t seeing torn/pulled hamstrings. There is some argument for how you handle quads contributing to knee stability, but a little extra knee stability only gets you so far when somebody flies into the side of your knee or rolls-up your leg.

2024 Utah defense key stats:
Opponent avg yds/carry: 4.2 (ranked #57)
Opponent pass completion rate: 51.2% (#4)
Opponent passing yds/game: 183.6 (#23)
Sack rate: 3.3% (#127)Our Dline is quite mediocre against the run and one of the worst teams in FBS in sacks. I didn’t find a QB pressure stat and while it’s possible that the Dline is pre…[Read more]

you don’t have to, the head football coach of the Utah program is doing it all on his own!

Its hard to say what the cause is because of the well known lack of transparency. BUT it seems like a lot of these injuries happen in practice.

Huh. So does he get this year back? Does he still have two years of eligibility? That could be huge for Utah.
If he is able to learn the offense this year, compete for the starting job next spring and have two full years to start, starting in 2025…This could be great for both parties…

If there wasn’t the 2 year saga of Cam Rising’s injuries would we even notice how many players are injured?
It seems like almost every CFB and NFL game you watch somebody gets injured and leaves the game.
As fans I get that with seasons that don’t meet expectations we look for everything we can as an excuse.
This year does not seem to be as…[Read more]

Press-on I just looked at your past posts and you haven’t had a positive post all season. Feel free to mix in something positive once in awhile. You seem angry and very opinionated. This program needs support right now.

You should go listen to Weddle’s interview from a few weeks back with OC. Weddle talks about this. From someone that had a long career and minimal major injuries, I take his word over others (did you even play college football or football in general 🙄). He says this isn’t a Whitt problem or S&C coach problem… Did you watch Cam’s injury, Moneys?…[Read more]
