Happens at the pro level all the time. A slow leak of discontentment at first but then as the losses and lack of targets, production etc add up, it turns into a full blown sinking ship.

And please don’t throw items at opposing fans.

I’m for whoever is the best QB available next year. If that is Cam, I am for Cam. This team needs a viable QB2, and it needs an offense that can work for a quarterback who has not been in the system and/or sitting in the booth with the OC for years. I am mostly worried about our O-line and RB rooms.

In 2018 the season ticket holders sold their 4 tickets right in front of my 4 season tickets to a BYU family for the Utah BYU game. They were up 20-0 at halftime. They never sat down the whole first half and were really obnoxious.

I think anyone who sells tickets to a BYU fan (or frankly, someone who isn’t a confirmed Utah fan) is a disgrace. Could you imagine a Michigan fan selling their ticket to an OSU fan during a season they’re undefeated and have playoff aspirations? You should lose your fan card.

2021-2022 Cam isn’t walking out on the playing field again. Cam’s mobility and run game, a big part of his play, is gone. This was before his latest knee injury.

What is left is a field general that would have to win back his troops, smart but weak armed immobile QB.

I wouldn’t forget and would gladly take the downvotes for it. At this point, bringing back Rising is like going all in every hand when you are losing at the poker table. At best you’re hoping to break even with one good result so that you can pretend all the losing hands before didn’t happen.

here’s the funny/sad part. IF Cam were to come back…and did somehow become healthy and lead our team to a 10 win season or better next year. Almost everyone here would forget everything we said this year and jump right back on the Cam Train. Hope springs eternal. I’m not nearly hypocritical enough to exempt myself from this.

I can guarantee none of that is true there is literally zero division in the locker room anyone that claims otherwise has no idea what they’re talking about.. There may be a player or two bitching about playing time but there’s a reason they’re not playing..

Clutch Points is basically Buzz Feed click bait. The entire article was based on Whitt saying he’ll let Cam decide his future. Nothing earth shattering. What else is he supposed to say in a really quick exchange with Furlong? “Utah football’s Cam Rising gets big update on Utes future” that word salad headline alone lets you know the quality of work.

Isn’t it mandatory BYU throws at least one of those?

We haven’t been creating TO’s because we havent’ been getting in the backfield effectively. The limited run O’Toole got vs. Houston you could tell he’s our best edge rusher. And Van plays up and down – If he plays up and O’toole is healthy, the defensive scheme should create turnovers.
