Hope he stays. He is a class act and loves the program. Wants to play in the NFL and Utah gives him the best chance. I might be wrong but there are still some players that look at the whole picture and not just money.

That would be a honor code violation.

I have it second hand from Dybantsa’s father that AJ was going to play for the school that paid him the most. There was no other objective or criteria for them in their decision making.

I was told BYU fans didn’t post on Utah boards.
Zoobs somehow think they are above it yet here you are…..weird
Just as long as you remember these players in football and basketball aren’t going to byu based on the school’s merits like the church and byu admin want to spin it.
You bought them plan and simple. They would show byu no attenti…[Read more]

Arizona as well. It seems like every time BYU goes to Arizona, there are issues with very public insults towards BYU and LDS Church in general.

Wishing back things on another is always wrong IMO. I give you credit for having the guts to post here. But, you are dead wrong on so many things you posted.

Reporter: Kyle, tell us about Zacharyus Williams and his spring performance.
Kyle W: Mother of God he sucks, next question.
Reporter: What about Smith Snowden? How is his progression?
Kyle W: Not in the right direction, that’s for sure. Have you seen someone drive the wrong way on the freeway?
Reporter: Anyone on the team making progress?
Kyle W:…[Read more] -

They are trying to create something that will get the maximum number of viewers. If casual fans and fans of teams outside those conferences stopped watching them, it would make an impact. But it won’t happen.

Me too, Central. I’ve been shopping around for an NFL team to follow. I’m thinking the Raiders since I live in St. George, but I don’t know if I have the strength for that.

Nothing concrete and that’s why I say far from it… I’m not sure Snowden has made a decision tho I think he met with Whitt tonight so maybe he has.

TDS will reap what they sow. Utah needs to beat them at their place this year and remind them who owns this state. TDS trying to buy their way to relevance but not going to happen

I wish they could govern college sports somehow. With it becoming more professionalized it would be nice to see some sort of contract. A 2-4 year contract and if they want to transfer then there should be a buyout option if they want to be let go of their contract. I miss the old days of all the different sports.

LOL, let me tell you something Phil…I’m not from Utah, so I have an East Coast perspective as to where you stand in the football pecking order. And what BYU is, figuratively speaking, is a pimple in a cow’s ass, or maybe a tick in a billy goat’s balls. In the real world, BYU didn’t exist in the past, doesn’t exist now, and won’t exist in the…[Read more]

The “AAU” requirement is a “BigTen” stipulation. Not a “Pac-10” one. The Pac-10 only required a school to have a Tier-1 Research categorization. The tdS didn’t reach that pinnacle until just last year — 15-yrs too late for the Pac-10.
When Utah finally received our invitation, neither we, nor Arizona St, had achieved “AAU” status. And…[Read more]

Rick, at this point, I think the timing is irrelevant. As college sports become more professionalized and almost identical to NFL franchises, down to having GMs, etc…anything that in the current environment provides potential personnel intel to opponents will be eliminated. Can you imagine if the NFL were run like college football is run…[Read more]
