With the Drive airing tonight it made me wonder, am I the only Ute that wants our offense/defense to put up a excessive amount of points and basically crush OSU’s will to play?

Won’t happen Utah is incapable of doing it. Chase Hansen is the only one capable of doing it with that flea flicker play. Control the game, win in the trenches and punch Oregon in the mouth.
Sark-7 only wins 7 games this year at USC? Would he be fired? Any thoughts Ute fans?
i only remember paul’s giant bonehead play and his moderate bonehead play…. i think he learned his lesson
Not a bad article!! I hadn’t realized that we only had 6 penalties in 3 games. That’s pretty impressive.
I am one of those that is friends with Monkey on Facebook, so I have some idea what he’s going through. His issues are real, and it’s not just him. He has other family members that are facing significant challenges.
He even reached out to me for help once in a way that both surprised me and, well, made me uncomfortable. I can only imagine that he must have been in a bad way to do that.
But, like others, I am not sure I completely understand the apathy he has towards UFN lately. I am sure he has been contacted IRL and had help offered concerning UFN. He has derived serious benefit from being the guardian of such a community – to the tune of a lot of dollars. In my mind, if I had derived such great benefit from that community, I would spend a lot more time nurturing it. But he is virtually ignoring it. That just feels wrong to me.
What is happening now is a natural result of the situation. WM has the ability and the bandwidth to dive back in if he chooses. But he chooses not to.
I installed a plugin to mark posts as read, but as far as I can tell it isn’t terribly accurate and only covers forums, not individual posts.
I do have stats modules I could show.

You do realize that a good number of us migrated from utefans, and that some of the folks that post the most over there are now members here as well, right? I don’t think it’s wise to start a beef with others before this site even has a chance to get off the ground. I can’t speak for others, but I find some of this talk insulting, and distasteful. I personally know a good number of people there, and this talk about it only being a handful of posters with a bunch of accounts is utter horses**t.
Then again, I’m most certainly one of the “beavis and buttheads” you referred to.
But Vernon is the type of QB that has given Utah ‘fits’ the last few seasons. I did watch the Oregon/Mich St. game and he played well, made some nice passes. He also made some mistakes and tried to force some throws. The Ute secondary will be tested and tested quickly.
If you think the secondary was bad against Fresno State, then you weren’t paying much attention. The Ute secondary owned them. Remember, Utah was up 24-10 when Fresno even began showing any signs of life and I think that was only because it appeared the route was on.
I will say that the Utes need to play all 60 minutes for Utah to win this game. It should be entertaining.
