2nd half adjustments

Many in the media and online are attributing the better 2nd half to halftime adjustments. In the post game interview coach Whitt said the difference was not adjustments.  They didn’t adjust much. They just executed better.

Agreed. They had the game plan. There were several problems. Bowers played better than expected. We dropped a ridiculous number of INTs. We may not have respected the NIU interior defense enough. I thought Ludwig did a great job adapting. The productive fly sweeps, the simple over the top mid-range passing, the play action, the right timing to call a QB run… I thought it was a very well coached game offensively.
