ParticipantO-line: A-, Fano and lomu. That’s the biggest reason for the high grade. The minus comes from interior and backups. Not as confident in them.
TE: B-, hunter Andrews seems awesome but is young. Tia should be good, JJ Buchanan former 4* on the team but also young. Not sure how much they matter in a beck offense
WR: B-, no wide receiver one, Merriweather seems like he has the measurables but why so many transfers from him? Love that Davis came with dampier, Nate Johnson will be awesome as long as he can catch. Excited to see who steps up.
RB: B, Wayshawn Parker reminds me of #22 in just about every way. Excited for Rogers and green. Bray and guillory are young and solid.
QB: B+, folks..dampier is legit but will he be able to translate to p5 and complete passes while taking care of the ball? We have to stay healthy though because I’m not sold at all on Wilson. Ficklin seems good
Edge: B, Fano is a dude, jHD should be good, awesome transfers and Fitzgerald should step up. Will Fano be the mayor of sack lake city?
DT: B-, any injury and we’re screwed imo. Vimahi was a starter but kept getting hurt. Vakalahi had a solid game versus ucf. Kafusi and battle better grow up quick or else I think we get ran over in the middle
LB: B+, Barton has to be what we expect right? Damuni is a dude, jono hall is a menace, very good young guys
CB: B, we’ll see, Snowden is awesome, I’m half and half on scooby Davis. Lots of transfers. Sucks we lost Calhoun.
S: B+, love Tao, I hope Ritchie is back to 2020 version. Rabbit evans is good. Would love to see a young guy or two step up
Overall in giving both sides a B as my concerns for offense is just health and playmaking from skill guys as well as taking care of the ball. Defense is just our ability to stop the runs up the middle and getting a pass rush.

Participant32 Days away is like a slow drip for me…. I feel like after the UCLA game, I’ll have a better clue on the team.

ParticipantI would give the OLine, linebackers, safeties a passing grade. Pass or fail only
Qb, RB,TE, WR, DT, DE, CB an incomplete because we don’t know for sure. They should all pass I don’t see any failures.
My biggest concern will be depth at many positions. Special teams can’t be any worse than last year. Same can be said for the whole offense.

ParticipantConfidence- no confidence. Optimism- yes lots.
I’m going into this year trying to have no expectations. I am going to enjoy the games and take what comes.

ParticipantThe last two years have completely stripped me of any ability to forecast a position group
