You’re all wrong. The tdS ALWAYS wins the “hypothetical game”! And in blow-out fashion no less. It’s just that once they actually lace them up for a game, they wind up on the other side of the scoreboard. Fans on cougarboard have been discussing this bizarre phenomenon every year over the past decade. They have NO IDEA why they — the “better team” with the “national brand” and “national [s]hampionship” they’d managed to back into way back when my great-great grandparents were still alive — keep losing. At current, the most popular theory is that it’s a “mental” thing. Not it’s a “2-star bonanza meets a vastly superior program” sort of thing.
