Hypothetical question about Rising and Kuithe

Had Rising and Kuithe decided to go into the NFL draft after the Ohio State Rose Bowl loss would they be playing in the NFL today?

Both of them decided to come back, and each experienced two serious injuries that for all intents and purposes, ended their careers. I love what these two brought to the field as Utes. Unfortunately, they were both part of the debacle of the last two seasons (not their fault).

I want to forget the 23/24 seasons and remember what these two did to bring Utah football so much positive attention.

I think it is likely they would have found a home somewhere in the NFL. I think Kuithe is a little undersized though so that might have made it more difficult.

They weren’t part of the debacle, they were the debacle, well, Rising anyway. Again, not their fault. S**t happens, but if Rising had left after that Rose Bowl loss, there never would have been a debacle in the first place. The debacle was the Rising injuries. No Rising, no injuries, no debacle.

If only one could predict the future, it would be a lot easier to make the right decisions.
