Georgia has nine 5-star players on defense.

No wonder their defense is so good.  Tough to compete with that.

And how many of those 9 from the PAC12 are NOT at Oregon or U$C?

2 are at UW (Smalls, Huard)
4 are Oregon (Thibodeaux, Sewell, Flowe, Manning)
1 is USC (Freeman), maybe 2 if Griffin is still on the roster

not sure about the other 1 or 2

*edit* forgot Bru McCoy at SC.

Here is an article from July on the number of 4/5 star recruits on each Pac 12 team.

If I were a fan of Oregon, USC, or Washington, I’d be p**sed by the results this year.

Oregon – why did they lose to Stanford and Utah?

USC – Why? That question covers all. Why oh Why!?

Washington – Who underperformed more this year UW or USC?

These three schools all have about twice as many 4/5 stars as ASU, Stanford, and UCLA and just over twice as many as Utah.

Really puts Utah’s coaching and player development in perspective. We’re doing this with a pretty young team. Lots of Freshman starting on both sides of the ball.
