About 1.5 hours before kickoff, my eldery dad fainted at the tailgate. He hit the pavement hard on his back. I was about 20 feet from him when I saw him going down. Fell like a tree. I grabbed some police who got some EMTs and they attended to him on the ground for awhile. Took him to the emergency room. He broke 6 ribs and is in bad shape. Got home about 1am. Saw a couple of game highlights.
Tough night for me.
So sorry to hear that Tony. Good thing you were right there and he was close to family when something like that happens.
Sorry to hear that Tony. Hoping everything turns out well for him and the whole family.

Hang in there, Tony. If there were ever an excuse to miss a game…
Take care of your dad and here’s hoping for a speedy recovery from your Utehub family.
So sorry. Broken ribs are painful. I feel for him.
Best wishes to your dad.
Here is an extended highlight reel to if you want show your dad:
I am sorry to hear. I hope the best for your father, sending good energy your way, sir.
Outside of the ribs… Is he OK?
When you’re 82 with six broken ribs, pneumonia is a very high risk. In the hospital for a few days to make sure that doesn’t happen.
I hope he gets well quickly. Prayers for him and your family.
That’s really tough. Hope all is well and a speedy recovery.
Best of luck for your dad, I hope he gets well quickly
So sorry to hear that, Tony. Wishing your dad a speedy recovery.
So sorry to hear this, Tony. Having elderly parents with an illness or injury is a hard thing to deal with.
Hope your dad is okay and will heal up soon!
Sorry, Tony, that’s tough. I hope his recovery goes well.
Sorry Tony. So scary to see your dad go through that. It’s really tough to see your parents age and develop health issues. Hope he recovers quickly and gets to enjoy the rest of this great football season.
Sorry to hear Tony. Put your dad in our prayers. That must of happened right after he served me up some of that wonderful Mexican brandy. God speed in his recovery.
