Great camping trip this weekend, which is why I was off the grid. Except I crashed my main cinematic racing drone into Navajo Lake, Utah Saturday night. Dove in after it and couldn’t find it. Mild hypothermia. Recovered it the next morning, 12 hours later. Damage TBD.
Did the drone get low on battery and try to land on the water? Got to turn that governor off. My friend lost his drone over the ocean in Hawaii after it auto landed at 20% battery life. Never found it.
Na this one is a racing drone. All manual control. I thought I had more space above the water than I did. I think it is because I couldn’t tell how close I was due to the sky reflecting in the water.
