  Shout out to a dude who had a monster game but didn’t get much pub…
  
  I thought Van Filinger was a total stud and played a fabulous game!
  
  he single handedly cured my angst about losing Tafua when I hope he comes back so bad!

  Fillinger and Cole Bishop were named over and over. We are in a great place.

    Bishop had that PI which was ok by me. He was a half a second early.
    
    What I loved about him was he didn’t loss his tenacity after the penalty. I believe he had a sack or tfl in that series and a deflected pass after the penalty.

      The only problem I had with the PI was that a pick was available if he’d played the ball. In a closer game, that penalty may have been a gamechanger and a pick in that spot definitely would have been.
      
      I love the way Bishop played this year and can’t wait to pair him with Ritchie. Once he gets more comfortable in those situations, he’ll be able to pick his spots like Lloyd does for maximum effect. It is hard to get too down on him for a freshman mistake but Bishop will get tested again by Ohio State and making the right choice in that spot will be huge.
