Probably not a popular opinion here, but I’m super bummed about losing the BYU game. That sucks. I’m even more ticked about losing the @Wyoming game as I’ve never seen a game in Laramie and was hoping to make the trek out there to see it.
Well, I’ve heard it’s kind of a hole, but there is a lovely river flowing through there which is good for fly-fishing, so they’ve got that going for them.
In Laramie, McBride used to tell his players to keep their helmets on while on the sideline. He told them people in the stands would throw urine filled balloons at them. Scheduling a game in Laramie was one of the dumbest things Chris Hill did.
Don’t forget them throwing batteries from the stands too. I expected that same type of crowd when I watched the Utes play the Pokes in 2010 but the fans were mostly great. Every other store in Laramie is a drive through liquor store. I don’t fault Chris Hill too much though because there’s a long history between Utah and Wyoming since the early 1900’s.
