Pears and satsuma plums >>>> peaches and apples

I used to love peaches, but for the life of my I can’t get past the nasty skin. The fuzziness makes me feel like I’m eating some kind of furry animal skin. NOPE!

Pears on the other hand have a skin that is actually satisfying to bite into. They are sweet, and a bit tangy. They are also more firm than peaches. MUCH better IMO.

Also, if you don’t have a satsuma plum tree in your yard you REALLY should get one. We have at least a dozen different fruit trees including two types of peaches, a few cherry varieties, and a few apple varieties. The Satsuma plums are the best.

and no… this is not a euphemism, I’m actually talking about pears and peaches.
