Penix is returning to UW for the 2023 season

  Utah’s 2023 SOS is ridiculous. At Corvallis, At Coliseum, and At Seattle thanks p12. Florida, Oregon and fUCLA at home?

    Is it too late for the Pac 12 to drop to 8 conference games next year? Have everyone pick up an FCS or group of 5 team. I don’t want to drop either Baylor or Florida (we should win both) and am more worried aboht playing nine PAC 12 teams in a row.

    Aren’t they switching up the scheduling model due to dropping divisions? I don’t think – could be wrong – that we will have the exact line up of teams that we all expected to have when divisions were in place.

      They dropped the divisions this year and every former divisional school played their entire division as far as I know.
      In fact next Year Utah rotates to Cal and Washington. Oregon and OSU is the final year of a three year rotation.

  I have watched way too much college football. IMO, Penix is the best passing QB in college football. This guy should go get the NFL money.

  The only reason that I can think of as to why he would stay is that he really likes the area and is extremely well compensated, even by P5 standards. I mean, all of the mock drafts I’ve seen recently have him creeping into the 1st RD. And get this, 2023 will be Penix’s sixth season as a starting college QB. There’s got to be something to this that we’re not seeing. It just doesn’t make any sense for a guy like him, that’s had an injury-plagued college career, to stay in college after having a monster season, especially with the assurance that he’d be a likely 1st RD pick.
