    Sounds like maybe a cultural transition problem? Southern Alabama to Utah is quite the change for a young kid. Wouldn’t be surprised if he just got homesick. It happens.

    I imagine Alabama to Utah would be a pretty severe culture shock especially for someone who’s never been away from home.

  Very sorry to see him go. But, I do understand how difficult it can be for an 18-year-old boy to leave his home and live in a completely different culture. I wish him well!!!
