Really? I don’t even understand it. Does anyone besides me think this is just odd? Is there anything comparable? The New Jersey Generals is the only thing I can reference. Well, whatever.

Does it have anything to do with George Washington? If so then I think that is pretty cool.

They had the perfect name just sitting there, staring them in the face – The Washington Pig Skins. Plays off of their “hogs” theme, keep the nickname of the ‘Skins. 

Commanders sounds like a fake team you’d see in a football movie like Any Given Sunday.

Always thought the Washington Foreskins would have really captured the essence of DC and the politicians there.
