With so many kids in the transfer portal market, is the transfer portal set up in Craiglist type of search format with a variety of filter options for coaches to go shopping for players?
When a player enters the transfer portal do they announce to their current school, enter there name into the data base with no release of their scholarship or academic transfer? Do these transfer portal kids need to meet certain acadenic criteria to get accepted by the Univestity their transferring to. Does the transferring player pick up the same scholarship from the accepting school?
The entire process seems very slippery from an academic tranfer stand point. Fully aware academic standards and requirments are quite different for athletes compared to the non-athletic student applying and enrolled in college.
