    Not OP, but I think Nike would bring a lot better designs, specifially for fan apparell. I’m a Gator fan second and their merch is on a different level. I often struggle to find things I want to buy at Utah Red Zone, but constantly see things I’d want to purchase from the Gator store.
    
    It does have to be mentioned that the Gator fan base is on another level and purchase a lot more Gator gear than Utah fans buy Utah gear, but why cant the things we do have be better designed?
    
    I also dont think Change.org petitions ever do anything.

      Amen. My wife is a fan of a Nike school while I cheer for the Utes. The gear for her school is so much better, and it’s not even close.

  We used to be a Nike school and my biggest problem with them was keeping a consistent and matching red. They were always all over the place in red they used. Seemed to have zero quality control. At least with UA they keep colors consistent. Variety may be another issue but I find UA stuff to be incredibly durable. I have UA stuff that I bought when we first switched over that still looks brand new today!

  Utah will not get the UO treatment from Nike. If the Utes switch from UA, they need to go with something like Jordan or Addidas

        I didn’t know either and the google-ator doesn’t really clear it up. Looks like it went from being a line to a subsidiary in 2017 and then in 2022 it started operating independently. Can’t really tell if Nike still owns a stake but you were probably more right than I was.
