WestCoastCFB compared each position group for the Utes and the team from Provo. Below are the results. My only huge disagreement is at LB. I can’t conceive how they could be even. This a big strength for the Utes. I would make receivers even as well as running backs. Algier had a great season last year, but who was it against? Utah will be starting a new RB, so I guess I can’t argue too much. Below is a link to the article.
Take off the crimson glasses and post your thoughts.

There are days, games, maybe stretches where BYU’s players or position groups could be better than Utah’s.
But no, lol, their team is not better at RB, WR, or even at LB. We have the far better skill players and recruiting for those positions, and if you wanna get super technical due to on-field performance, WR is an even push only because we are run heavy by nature.
The home field advantage I’m not even sure leans their direction, but I don’t know off hand our home record vs. theirs over the last ~10 years. It doesn’t even explain why BYU was given the home-field bump, # of seats? lol k
I give them wr and ol
Home field hahahahahahaha
To their credit I guess it is talking about sept 11 oops
I get WR, RB will take one game and Utah will clearly be better. The writer must be using some serious hallucinogens if he think the LB’s are even. Lloyd is one of the best in the country. Sewell is awesome and I’m sure whoever is behind them will be very good too.
BYU is truly an amazing team. Truly.
Sometimes I wish Whitt would keep his foot on the gas pedal when we play those guys. Then again, no matter how bad we beat them or how many times in a row we beat them…they’ll never get it.
Full circle. Hilarious. When in doubt, rub it out.
He did this whole thing wrong, do it right and it’s GAME OVER. BYU O-line against Utah D- line, edge Utah. Utah O-Line against BYU green young D-Line, edge Utah. BYU RB against Utah D-Line and LB’s, edge Utah. Etc. etc.
Eh, we know this article is written to hype the game, not to provide an accurate prediction. I’d say Utah -10 at this point.
