This is my CFB (and Utah) bye week. I will be watching the lead fly into a trout’s mouth. After that every week a game through the middle of January.
I expect the Utes will iron out a few kinks, on Saturday. Many of them illustrated in other blogs; the Linebacker and Wide receivers will be the focus this weekend, before taking on the last OOC game, and the start of their PAC-12 run.
The Utes had their opportunities to win over the last two games, making a statement, but didn’t. They have the rest of the season to reverse the start to the 2022 season.
Enjoy your well-deserved time away.
I’ll be on a bye this weekend as well. Going to NYC to see Pearl Jam @ The Apollo.
Damn good way to spend the bye week.
I saw Eddie Vedder at the Ralph Nader Super Rally in Portland, Oregon 22 years ago.
A man after my own heart! Good luck on the rivers this week! I love catching fish on the fly. In fact at the moment of writing this, I’m listening the to Fly-fishing Guide Podcast.
I’ll be attending the first home game of Utah Football, and tailgating bright and early prior to kickoff.
Hear hear!
Not sure I’ll be watching any games other than Utah v. SU but I’ll definitely be keeping my eye on the other Pac-12 scores especially USC @ Stanford.
Go, drunken trees!
Surprised you failed to list UK @ UF…..We need UF to have a strong year.
I pay marginal attention to the SEC throughout the season. I don’t have a connection to any of those teams.
Additionally, although I respect the sentiment, I don’t look to validate my team by the perceived strength of a team to which we lost. I am not trying to prove anything to someone else about my team. I know how I feel about them.
