The tall WR that committed to Utah?
IIRC he had some grades issues and was going to go the Jr College route. But I honestly do not remember where I saw/read that.
That’s what this old post seems to indicate.. U of U monitoring him @ Snow
He supposedly signed with Snow College, but I don’t see him on their roster.
Twitter profile still says he’s a Ute commit
He never made it to Snow. If I had to put a percentage of him ever playing at Utah I’d say 1% chance just cause you never say never but it’s basically 0% he ever makes it to Utah.
Of all the football recruits I ever followed I’d say he has the worst home life I’ve ever heard of. Literally zero guidance at home he’s basically homeless he sleeps wherever somebody will take him in that night. I heard someone mention he’s already fathered two kids from different girls which I was never able to confirm.
Utah Coaches did everything they could to try and help him but he’s got mountains to overcome in his life.
Forget about football just pray he makes it through life
I suspect you are correct. Shame. I’m sure if KW et al. could have a year with him, he’d find the promised land. Now I don’t.
These kind of stories are the ones that make us belly aching about a loss so damn trivial. Its easy for us all to arm-chair QB and talk about what should, or shouldn’t have happened during a game, most of us don’t know 98% of what is going on behind the scenes.
Its a blast to have your team do well, most important though for kids that come through the progam to be better for it. Hope nothing for the best for the kid, really hope he finds his way!
Awesome! He used one of his lifelines! Good for him!
