What's with all the Mike Leach love?

I think he’s a good coach, but I don’t get the love he’s getting.  He’s had 41 wins at WSU since he’s been there.  In that same time Whittingham has had 46 (with 1 fewer game this year).  At their peaks in this timeframe Utah had a 10 win season and WSU has only made it to 9.

Is it that it is just that it feels better to lose a 50-54 game than it does to lose a 14-17 game?

I just want Leach’s offense. I think he is to an offensive program as Whit is to a defensive program. Leach’s achilles is Whit’s strength, and vice versa. Combine them and…. you would have a great system and some really fun press conferences.
