If we end the year 6-6, not sure I want to see them play in a bowl. Yikes. But despite today, I still think we can get to 8-4. Yes, I said it.

Yeah, this was not the right game to bring Huntley back. Not sure if we still win with Williams or not, but Huntley seemed out of sync all game, and clearly was not 100%.

I heard Whit put it another way that really drove home why it was the right decision. He said OT is basically a red zone competition, and how has Utah been on the red zone… yeah, going for 2 was the best decision.

BTW this is geeky but I think these guys do a good job breaking down UW’s failures at ASU.

I realize Williams has his shortcomings, and that’s why he lost the starting job, but we can still win games with him. Meanwhile look at every other team in the PAC. If they lost their starting QB the drop off would be yuuuge to the next guy. Look at Oregon. They are going to struggle to make a bowl after losing Herbert.

Huntley is better, but Williams still has what it takes to beat ASU. He did it last year.

Maybe giraffe would’ve gotten in on the 2 pt conversion, but by then it wouldn’t matter anyway because we’d be down by 3 TD’s after the 3 pick 6’s. Sorry, but TW2>TW1.

Even though I disagree with you sometimes, we missed ya in chat last night. 

USC fans were saying the same about Darnold on twitter at the half. Troy made mistakes, no doubt, but he’s the back up QB and nearly led the Utes to victory on the road against a top 10 team. But yeah, he stinks. 

Agreed. And even though it wasn’t the final result I wanted, the game last night was good. Our guys showed well, had a chance to win at the very end. It was generally a good reflection on the pac 12 in prime time national TV and very cool that it was our UTES out there! Next up: the team that upset UW in our house. Fun times. 

And I’m sorry I called you a zoob. Last night was hard. 

Wow, I actually agree with all these points. Especially love Whit as the architect of the dismantling of tds as a program. Brilliant. Also homage to Tom petty there is clever. 

That is painful to watch. Poor Troy. I don’t care what the twitter trolls say. He really did play decent last night. Way better than Travis Wilson did in 2015. That will sting for a while. Soooo close to winning that game. 

I love that the Washington schools lost this weekend. Sorry not sorry. And especially in such embarrassing fashion. I think UW was like a 34 pt favorite? Lol. It probably means the pac 12 won’t send anyone to the CFP unless USC wins out (which I hope they don’t). But I enjoy the chaos for now.
