Barefield, a 6-foot-2 guard from Corona, Calif., averaged 15.8 points per game, shot 52 percent from 3-point range and 53 percent overall from the field during the team’s five-game tournament run, and earned all-tournament honors along the way.
52 percent!! I am very excited about this team.

Really enjoyed this movie. Kind of weird/maybe not so coincidental when it got released with current politics.
If you see the first one and disliked how Emily Blunt’s character sort of changed you may like this one more. I personally couldn’t stand the main character from the first one. This second movie is all anti hero(Del Toro and Brolin). I…[Read more]

Whitt is the best coach Utah has of course.

Didn’t have to fix shit Arizona should have been flagged. It didn’t matter in the end either. All it did was eat clock lead to further embarrassment on the officials ignoring a hold in the end zone. You can’t fix officials being donks.
Edit: IMO everything you have said is more of an indictment on Whitt. You think he employs average coaches with…[Read more]

Specifically, a severely inconsistent pass rush (only six sacks in their six losses versus 19 in their seven wins) and penchant for fading in the fourth quarter (Utah gave up 104 fourth quarter points all year compared to 193 in quarters 1 through 3 combined) appeared as severe problems that were, frankly, covered up by 26 forced turnovers and a…

Week three is going to be fun.
Let’s just start with this: with nine starters returning, a veteran offensive line, and a dabbling of potential playmakers in the passing game, it is not a stretch to say that the 2018 Utah offense projects as its best since the Utes entered the PAC.
Of course, that isn’t saying a lot.Man I hate July its my…[Read more]

Pushoff P decides he enjoys first round exits and playing along side a stat padder.
CP3 gets to retire a Rocket seems like.
I am still leaning towards Lebron going to the Sixers. They are meeting with his reps right now.
Lakers are going after Boogie which is a good thing for the Jazz.
Ariza goes to the Suns for a one year deal for the…[Read more] -

A basketball player in high school, he has all the athletic tools necessary to be the most talented wide receiver on Utah’s roster.

The classic line used by commentators. Well he played basketball so that’s why he is so athletic. -

I am one of the weird ones who suck at free throw shooting. I don’t practice like I should but when I did I always sucked. Yet I can make 40% of my threes in a game of pickup ball. I am more of a defend guy anyways not much of a scorer but I can have games where I score a bundle of points.
Also for taller guys it can be hard. They have huge…[Read more]

I think it is bad outside 12 feet as well. Free throw percentage is in the 40%. So in a tight game you hack the primary ball handler in Simmons. He can’t stay on the court, Kerr does this a lot. Instead of let Houston take shots GSW hacked Capela and played the odds. Not saying it is fair but that’s the rules until the NBA figures out how refs…[Read more]

Jazz will have him for pretty much the same amount of time as they had Hayward. You have to bring talent to Utah to get him to win now. They want to contend for a title and you are a fool if you don’t think Lindsey is doing that right now. He did it for the Spurs another small market team. Smaller than Utah in fact.

I think it is embarrassing for Utah more than them. Usually their November games are straight up diarrhea in recent history. We get to feel how it is to end on a sad note by playing them.
Larry Scott and Chris Hill got straight up pantsed by Holmoe on this.
