Thanks for stopping by. I don’t know much about UNLV but sounds like the Utah advantage could be depth. We have 2-3 pretty good guys that come off the bench.

From an purely statistical standpoint yes, a field goal missed in the first quarter equals the same amount of points as one missed in the 4th quarter with 2 seconds left. However, the first one can be overcome by plays following the event, where the mistake on the last play cannot. That’s the point.

Despite the loss, I think last night was Huntley’s coming of age party. He balled out against the Pac-12’s best defense, and basically carved them up with nearly no offensive line blocking support. With any kind of blocking at all next year and our upcoming receiving corps, he could really carve up a lot of teams.

I was impressed by the bball team tonight. Defense was solid, low turnovers, bench players did great. They held all those big guys from Missouri at bay pretty well. Quite surprised. Are we better than I thought this year? Looking that way.
