chinngiskhaan replied to the topic Hypothetical question about Rising and Kuithe in the forum Football 1 month ago
Yes, but the fact that we kept him on the roster and repeatedly insisted that he was the guy had a massive impact on our ability to recruit quality players at the QB position, ESPECIALLY experienced transfers. If Rising had simply left, we would have been a lock to pick up an experienced transfer QB wanting to come in and win right away. He…[Read more]

They weren’t part of the debacle, they were the debacle. Again, not their fault. Shit happens, but if they had left after that Rose Bowl loss, there never would have been a debacle in the first place. The debacle was the Rising injuries. No Rising, no injuries, no debacle.

What Kool Aid? He’s an offensive tackle who won’t even be on the team until next year.

I don’t think anything is a stretch at this point (in terms of regular season record). We are an injury or two away from having a losing record. On the flip side of that, if Dampier improves in his decision making a little bit, and we don’t have any catastrophic injuries, there is a very real chance we make it to the Big12 championship.
Is it a…[Read more]

chinngiskhaan replied to the topic Tanuvasa showing why he transferred to the clown college: in the forum Football 1 month, 1 week ago
I know two women that this happened to. I know both the wives and husbands very well so I know the stories are true. Both boyfriends claimed to have received revelation for their girlfriends that they were supposed to be married. Both husbands ended up being abusive. It happens. There are lots of people of our faith that use it to manipulate…[Read more]

Look, I believe in the same God he does. I pray about big decision in my life. It is entirely possible that he did feel like God was telling him to go, but that doesn’t mean money wasn’t the main motivation for even considering it in the first place. I don’t know anyone that is bought in to their current job that wakes up every morning and asks…[Read more]

Come on guys, he didn’t say that. He’s obviously being dishonest about how bought into the program he was, but he did not say what that tweet says he did.
He’s clearly a liar that is more concerned about his pocketbook and his public image than he is about his integrity, but lets not say he said things he did not say. He’s a liar because he says…[Read more]

If he’s anything like the rest of his family he will underperform. Not saying he is, but I won’t lose any sleep over him.

chinngiskhaan replied to the topic Does anyone else kind of shrug when new recruits commit? in the forum Football 1 month, 2 weeks ago
I shrug about must things in college sports these days.
College sports are now nothing more than horribly run minor leagues for their respective sports. If there was at least some attempt at keeping things fair I would be okay with it. Without that, I have no need for college sports other than nostalgia. I have zero connection to University of…[Read more]

He had good efficiency numbers and he’s the tallest guy on the team though, so he isn’t totally useless. He is also a decent rebounder apparently. Not a bad guy to have on the end of the bench.

chinngiskhaan replied to the topic What I think about the 2025 football season in the forum Football 1 month, 3 weeks ago
I expect them to have a good year, but, like the last two years, it depends on injuries. People forget that we were doing just fine until Baylor got away with one of the latest hits I’ve ever seen.
Awful injury luck across the entire team has derailed our last two seasons.
We will be fine as long as that doesn’t happen again.

The TSPP fan reactions to him being gone are pretty funny. When news first came out about the incident, there were two main responses. Either he didn’t do it/won’t get suspended, Or, OMG WE ARE SCREWED.
Now that he is actually gone gone (reportedly), the reaction has been, “meh, we didn’t need him anyway because mmmmkay Hillstead is actually just…[Read more]

Completely agree. Ou OL will be better, but when you factor in Big12 defenders, our wr group may be a worse situation for Dampier. We’ll see.

Man, watching this team is so much fun. It is a completely different experience than watching them play the Heat over and over in the ECF. With that team, every offensive possession felt like pulling teeth. We were intentionally slowing games down hoping we could lean on David West for buckets. With this team, its all about having fun, pushing the…[Read more]
