If Broughton is in there I think we may have won… but many of those passes from Stroud were just so perfect it wouldn’t have mattered who was defending.

The point is, even with a depleted secondary all we needed to win that game was a decent punt. They would have ran out of time and we would have at the very least made it to OT.

ugh… you are correct… well, I’m going to assume you are anyway, I don’t want to watch that replay again to find out. Either way, it was terrible, and had the punt been at least moderately successful, and everything else went exactly the same way, we win the game. Like I said before, oh well.

I don’t think disagree means what you think it means. What exactly are you disagreeing with? Nobody said that more things went OSU’s way than Utah’s. Disagreeing implies that your opinion is different than the one with which you disagree. You haven’t stated anything contrary to anyone’s opinion in this thread.

Wasn’t their defense terrible this last year? He had 89 tackles, 2.5 tfls… that’s pretty strange isn’t it? Still good to have him, and may do better with us… just something to think about.

replace that blocked punt with a 45 yarder and there would have been a minute or two less on the clock, no winning score. They likely score on that possession still, but I’d like to think they take a few minutes off the clock.

LOL, still on this kick are we? I didn’t claim to know why Utah lost that game did I? My claims about Gach were essentially based around the verifiable fact that he is inconsistent. Didn’t watch it. Few things I noticed from this box score as well as the last few. Gach has predictably has come back to earth as of late in terms of offensive production (though he hasn’t shot horrificly bad, he’s just not taking as many shots for some reason).

Robert Conley played for Utah, he is the RB coach at Weber State, but I’d like us to go after someone who can open doors that we don’t currently have open. We could use a guy with connections to the state of Florida. We still recruit well there, but we could use a florida guy to keep those connections open. It would also be nice to hire a former NFL guy.

Ask yourself this question: Would coach Whitt start a RB at CB if there was any option that was better? If the answer to that question is no (it is), then you have no reason to complain or wonder about why.

Lets not forget that one of our key backup players in the secondary was brutally murdered.

Sure, it’s no big deal… but we won’t have 60k at the game. It’s too bad that people over bought. I think the high price from the high demand scared many fans away from getting in on the action.

My non Utah favorite is Notre Dame: Not a better uniform in sports IMO. Gold helmets, dark blue uniforms with a ND logo on one sleeve. Gold pants. Doesn’t get cleaner and better looking than that.
