If the roster is correct, the only QB left after Bottari is Dallen Engemann and we’ll probably see Tao Johnson run wildcat all game before he sees the field.

Not to mention that 2 walkons have outperformed the multiple 4 star QB’s the program has brought in the last few years

Can only do that with a coaching change. It’s not as bad as the Pac-12 days where scholarships were guaranteed for 5 years but you still need a coaching change for a complete overhaul of the roster

You’ve hit on the problem though. It doesn’t matter who the OC Scalley wants. Because if Whitt is the Head Coach next year, the OC will be running the offense in the manner that Whitt wants.

I could literally throw a dart at cork board with all 133 names of current FBS coaches (minus Whitt of course) and come up with a better option to take over the program starting in 7 days than Brian Johnson no matter what upside you think he has.

Calhoun is close to being great. A couple of those “almost intercepted” go his way and people are comparing him to CP3 as a freshman

Unfortunately, it’s a common tactic. JaQuinden had it happen every time he got leg tackled last year and Utah players do it all the time. You always give a little extra on those tackles and Wilson was already hurt when it happened.

When the GOAT also ties the program record for consecutive losses with his “most talented and deepest roster ever”, I’m not sure how you can come to a different conclusion. No matter how much you appreciate everything Whitt has done for the program.,,

I have it on good authority from Ute Hub posters that Wilson was a can’t miss recruit who would put up Heisman stats the second he stepped on the field.
