I am generally of the opinion that all fan bases with a large enough sample size share the same basic characteristics. Good and bad. There’s idiots and assholes everywhere. Not because they are a fan of a certain team but because they are people and people suck
Provo fans claim that Utah’s fan base is especially terrible and that the amount of…[Read more] -

I feel like Wynn regressed due to shoulder injuries, but we’ve now watched Travis, Troy, and Tyler all regress as their time in the program went on, imo. We saw Travis hesitate all the time. Throws were late, never happened, or he’d bail out to the 6 yard comeback on the outside. Wouldnt take shots or make “riskier” throws in the deeper levels of…[Read more]

I watched the slot WR come wide open behind the LB in the seam at least 4 times in this game. any time Tyler took a shot downfield it was 1v1 ID and a shit back shoulder throw. Thats a cop out. Theres room downfield.

but for one reason or another (same shit different game) its going to be a 7-8 win season. There was a long period in the early 2nd half I though we were taking over the game. Our D line found something (tupai/fotu and anae got loose) and we were clearly in the driver seat. We got the ball up 24-21 4 times during this stretch went 0-4. We score on…[Read more]

rbmw263 replied to the topic Utah line has moved from +1.5 to -1.5. in the forum Football 6 years, 8 months ago
this is totally unsubstantiated and objectively wrong. Lines are set to protect themselves from the only people who have a legitimate shot long term to take money from the books. If they are setting lines to “encourage betting” they arent doing this, and this is the ONLY way a book can put themselves at risk. A inaccurate line represents a massive…[Read more]

poll inertia alone. Of course Texas is back. Jumped from unranked to 18th. Must be nice. Im not sure how many people out there that have actually watched byu play and think they are the 20th best team in the country, but eesh.

rbmw263 started the topic I don't think any major mid season change is the answer in the forum Football 6 years, 9 months ago
In order to be a power run team you still need to be able to throw. That issue doesn’t go away. And I’m not sure I see this team being successful saying “were going to run, load the box.” We tried that with a better o line with Booker and our offense was nowhere near good enough to get us where we want to go. Sure, we might have a higher floor…[Read more]
