I thought a regular loss in the championship game wouldnt hurt us, but I figured a loss like that would knock us down a seed line. Im only seeing a few brackets with us lower than a 3 today. Thats huge! Hopefully the guys have washed that loss off of them….there are much bigger things on the horizon. Time to refocus and lock in.

but I ultimately would have been ok with it. Respectable showing, and a loss provides a chance to reset mentally before the real tournament next week. The only problem is we didnt just lose….a loss like this can defeat you twice. Thing is, while Oregon outplayed us, we hurt ourselves almost as much. Some of the passes we made (or tried to make) were mind boggling. That was not the same team we’ve been watching all season. Even in our other losses.

any respectable loss and we get a 3 tomorrow. This almost certainly knocks us down to a 4.

What an great season against a stacked and DEEEEEP schedule. 26 games against top 100 teams??? Been a pleasure watching Utah take on quality teams night in and night out, and do well.
