I wish no news meant that the Utes would be on again. That was a great thing to watch last year. I loved watching how our coaches work with the team. Having never played sports, I think it’s pretty cool to watch.

This seems like a “fireside before a game” type thing. Now, if the Mo Tab just rocks the song and pumps us all up, then cool! However … I picture a thoughtful, slow, melodic interpretation of our FIGHT SONG. Yeah … fireside before a football game. Just don’t belong!! (and in case it matters, I’m a mo)

Totally agree.  I recently upped my Dish with sports pack so I could get the PAC12 channel.  I was watching some of the football related programming and it’s a pretty sweet resource.  As I watched I suddenly realized where so many posters got their great thoughts from.

That gameplan was just perfect.  The crazy part to me was afterwards knowing that we just beat our first 3 OOC games with a vanilla offense.  How crazy is that?  We got a win against Michigan using hardly any of our arsenal.  That’s insane.  Pretty exciting to see what we’re doing this year.

sounds like we need to combine the two. The threaded view you did looks great and I also love that format. If only we could do that AND resort so that new posts always take the entire thread posted on back to the top. Best of both worlds!!! 🙂

I wouldn’t assume that they traveled cross country to the game. I’d assume they were like you, and lived closeby. Then again, this rivalry does bring out some crazy efforts from fans. I recall a BYU fan renting a plane to fly a “harline’s still open” sign over a Ute game in CA somewhere (memory is real fuzzy on that). An Auburn buddy of mine went to an Alabama road game in Dallas and plastered fliers (that had some smack about their coach) all over the light posts and entrances to the other teams stadium. Some people just get passionate about that stuff I guess.

If you would have told me that 4 games into this year national news outlets would be using Travis Wilson and Heisman together on purpose, I would have laughed. I would have laughed harder if you said they’d also be using Utah and National Championship in the same sentence. This is insane!!!!! Not saying I believe either will actually happen, but it does feel nice to get that kind of attention!
