I watched that 2012 game today. I don’t know how we won that game. Wynn just retired, no White, they had Van Noy, Ansah, etc.

lol. That was the last time they were more talented than we were.

lol. I do agree that without Booker, we have taken a step back…unless someone steps up and runs for 1500+ yards.

Wouldn’t that be best case scenario for both teams? Utah wins the national championship and BYU can do their twisted logic to show how they are better than Utah?

I’d take that in a heartbeat.

This is how irrelevant this game is to Utah. Utah could lose to BYU every single year and win the rest of their games and they would be national champions every single year. It’s stunning the benefits of being in a P5 conference.

Yeah, they had the most impressive win this weekend. Washington played a crappy Rutgers team. Stanford played a Kansas St team that will struggle to make a bowl. EWU beat a team that is supposed to have 9+ wins and compete for the North.

I’d put Utah over ASU for a myriad of reasons, but mainly because Utah had a more dominant win. ASU was up 10-0 at halftime. Utah was up 17-0 at halftime. Utah pitched a shutout. ASU gave up 13 points to a worse team.

ASU had 20 more offensive yards, yet gave up 267 more yards on defense.

Wrubell said on Bill Riley’s show today that the past six games, Utah has had less turnovers in 5…all Utah wins. BYU’s only win? When both Utah and BYU had zero turnovers.

At the end of the day, it’s the turnover battle.
