I am a bit surprised by the preseason team selections

  We have only one first-teamer on offense and that is Ford. What surprised me is that Kuithe didn’t make the first or second team. The only guy on the second team is Covey.
  
  On defense we have Lloyd and Tafua on the first team, but no one on the second team.
  
  We do have two first team special-teamers in Covey and Redding.
  
  I understand that we don’t have a RB or QB on the list because our best players at these positions are transfers. But, I would have thought that we would have had more defensive players on the preseason team. Oh well.

  Between Covid and Bentley, 2020 was a tough year for Brant to showcase his talents.

  I love it. Whitt’s teams always play better with a chip on their shoulder. Having USC get so many more 1st place votes coupled with our lack of projected all Pac12 candidates… yeah, that ought to do it.
