With the completion of the KGRZ, our facilities are top notch across the board. I’ve got to think that any recruits we get to come on campus for official visits will be very impressed when they visit the Eccles Football Practice Center, RES with the new KGRZ, and the overall feel of SLC with the mountains.

Add to all of this our stable coaching staff with a track record of developing talent and putting players in the league and our Ute family culture and my hope is this complete package bumps our overall recruiting into the Top 20. If this allows us to pick up 2 more 4* dudes that we might not have gotten otherwise each year, it’s huge!

What do you all think this final piece of upgrading our facilities will do for our program?

Love it, but the next piece is the scholarship box or tier at the top of the east stands similar to what we had 25 years ago. That will also cause us to raise the lights to the height of the west side and get them out of the eyes of those of us on the west side (a small complaint).

Why is KGRZ too much like “Cougars”? Did no one think this through?

I’m not sure I understand what you’re saying? Is it like the TDS’s stadium?

I used to enjoy the “KGRZ” from time to time.  They are just “age appropriate divorcees” now; which isn’t nearly as exciting.
