  Excellent question. I too would love to know how Covey, as well as Z Moss, & F Bernard are recovering. Here’s to hoping they’ll be full go on 8/29. Go Utes !!

    When I heard Covey on the radio last month, he talked about how weird it was going to be to play in Cougar stadium. It sounds like he believes he is going to play. I certainly hope so!

  I mean he only weighs like a buck thirty so it’s not like he’s carrying a lot of weight around. He’s 8 or 9 months out right now which is about where we see that injury fully healed in today’s world. He’s well on his way to playing.
  
  I’d imagine he’ll take it easy in camp but should 100% start game 1. Moss and Bernard are/will be fine too. Kuithe at DE, Keaton Bills and Fabrizio are questionable right now. Besides that we are pretty healthy.

    OnlyU – may I ask what’s holding those guys back? I thought I heard of an acl for Bills, but maybe I missed something for Kuithe and Fabrizio? I understand if you are unable to provide more details.

      Yes…Bills and Kuithe have ACL’s. Blake has been hurt almost since he’s been here. Combination of things with Fabrizio but he’s not close right now.
      
      Covey is already running SOME routes with the QB’s so I don’t have any concern about him at all today.

  Covey looked fairly gimpy running up the hill in the video released yesterday. You guys know more than I do, but he looked like he has a ways to go to be 100%. No reason to rush him back too soon.
