I assume his skill set is better suited to Beck’s offense than Ludwig’s, so maybe he could be back up qb if needed.

He did say he is open to playing WR. I would imagine if he came back to Utah they would take a look at him as a backup QB, but he would probably see the field as a WR this year assuming Dampier doesn’t get injured.

Per Steve Bartle not necessarily a qb.
Sounds like he could be an emergency qb but they’d like him more as an athlete

Do you think we’d pick him up as a QB again or have him as a WR like what we’ve said before he left to the portal?

I think people will be surprised how good our OL looks when we have a QB that will actually throw the ball…

Still need the WSU or NM back. I would take either one of them.

Mikey likes it! Feed me! I love the idea of a stron duo of backs, a bruiser blocking strong back and a fast shifty agile back.

I went to school with Cleadus, I’m a few years younger. He was good friends with a few of my cousins and friends.
Whenever I’d see him around or at games he’d say hello. Friendliest, kindest guy ever. I’m so sad for his young family and wife. He was Utah to the core. He will be truly missed! -

Team has had trouble playing 40 quality minutes. We let 2-9 Eastern Washington hang around far too long (had a dominant start getting up 16 before letting them back to within a basket or two, then a final push in the closing minutes put the Eagles away), and not showing up until after halftime cost us against the Gaels. After what should be a…[Read more]

6-2 / 215 and built. Also means we can keep Andrews on defense.

It seems like the team has switched recruiting philosophies, at least on offense. For a few years there it seemed like they were just going after whoever had the highest rating. Now it seems like they’ve switched to going after guys that have demonstrated an ability to fit a specific need. I think this will work out better for the team.

Smith is a terrible coach, his rotation, and limited player use is ugly and will cost them several games. another pathetic year in Men’s BB

Love the pickup! A ‘Larry Czonka’ type, … tough, tough running back. Shula remolded Czonka’s running game back in the day to literally become a human ‘bulldozer’. A little smaller but Washington may give the Utes the same. You need 2-3 yards, you get 2-3 yards!
BTW, I’m eating some crow right now, too. Thought Whitt was all washed up.…[Read more]

Exactly. We have not had a good QB for two seasons now. I would take a good season.

You never saw Larry K’s team fight from a big halftime deficit like at the game vs Saint Mary’s? Give me a break…how about this 22 point comeback in the last 10 minutes of the game versus UCLA in 2019 at Paoley Pavilion. This is the best Utah comeback of ALL TIME.
