Completely agree. Ou OL will be better, but when you factor in Big12 defenders, our wr group may be a worse situation for Dampier. We’ll see.

Given how much I’ve heard about Dampier’s passing TD:interception ratio from 2024, I decided to take some time to watch replays of each, and here are my notes.
Arizona:
* close miss, probably should have run out of bounds or taken the sack instead of throwing
* pass that hit the receiver in the chest and bounced into the hands of a…[Read more] -

He’s got quite the offer list. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him crack the rotation sooner rather than later.

We’ve seen this story play out before. High rated prospect visits, gets lured away by a big NIL offer for one of the big bloods. It’s nice to have this type of talent visit, but until I see it playing at Utah, I just can’t get excited. I get that they obviously have visit before committing and taking the field.

A top 5 recruit doesn’t cancel an Oklahoma visit to use Utah as leverage.
Line coach proven to put guys in the league (we have more lineman drafted in the last ten years than Texas does, despite getting lower ranked recruits)
Potential for early playing time.
4 dudes on the team he played ball with growing up.
Potential for road games in…[Read more]

You bring up a lot of good points and are probably right on all accounts. NIL drives so many of these guys decisions, but the irony is that the money that a true blue chip player is going to make on NIL is pennies compared to the second NFL contract. Rookie contract, life changing, second contract, generation changing. A mature kid with that…[Read more]

Harding is about to put two tackles in the first round of the draft after this season… Early playing time, proven coach, ‘decent’ NIL is getting us a visit. He cancelled an OV to Oklahoma to come to Utah this weekend

I don’t mean to be low self esteem sports guy, but what’s the Utah draw for this guy again? So far what I know is that he is a Texan with no Utah ties, blue chipper who has his pick of any national championship containing program and can probably all but write his own NIL check 🤔. I guess I should be flattered that we can give the kid more lev…[Read more]

I would love to get Felix, but he is predicted to go to Texas. Texas can offer him anything he wants when it comes to NIL. I’m not sure how we will be able to get this kid.

Roughly equivalent to telling your high school girlfriend that of course you’d be together forever.

I meant no slight on this guy, just not sure what a commitment to a team even means these days.

Genius. He was calling recruits in the morning and evening and telling them about the NBA players he was training that day. Also, I loved that his approach is the NBA approach of production rather than NIl bidding only. We got a good one. I’m excited for this year.
Some mother fuckers on here were lamenting his working both jobs at once: but i…[Read more]

Good read if you haven’t seen it already.
“Jensen said it occasionally helped to have a foot in both worlds. “There were times we were hurt in Dallas and didn’t have depth at the point guard position, and after the game, I’d say, ‘We need a point guard [in Utah],’” Jensen tells FOS. “So, in a weird way, the two kind of helped each other.””

Yes! Punk Rock is in there but in the Guide Pins. I should definitely add it to the terminology since the Diving Board is in there. Good call. I’ll add those both to the next version!

Wow, Tony I love this APP. So impressive! As a lifelong (44 years) Alta skier, I loved reading through the terminology. A couple I would add:
Stadium air: A big wind-lip, or natural created jump at the base of Devils Castle. Many locals throw backflips, double backflips and other aerials off this feature.
Punk Rock: A young Alta skiers favorite…[Read more] -

Man, watching this team is so much fun. It is a completely different experience than watching them play the Heat over and over in the ECF. With that team, every offensive possession felt like pulling teeth. We were intentionally slowing games down hoping we could lean on David West for buckets. With this team, its all about having fun, pushing the…[Read more]
